We had a wonderful few days at Parsonage Farm. It is situated in a tranquil village and is the perfect base for exploring the Quantocks.
Suki made us very welcome, providing at our request a delicious evening meal with produce from her own vegetable plot. I must also mention the fantastic breakfasts - either traditional English with locally sourced products or freshly-made pancakes and maple syrup from (I guess) Suki's native Vermont. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, with wonderful beds - like sleeping in a marshmallow!
Suki is great at suggesting things to do/places to eat based on her expert local knowledge!
All in all, it was a delight to stay at Parsonage Farm. Our only regret was that we weren't there on a Friday night when, in the summer, Suki hosts outdoor parties with pizzas made in her traditional bread ovens - very popular with guests and locals alike.
