Stayed at Wick house while attending a weekend event at Halsway Manor, the National Centre for Folk Arts. We were greeted by the hosts who carried our bags into our room and shortly after provided a cream tea - a perfect way to start our stay. The accommodation was comfortable and roomy, and although we confined ourselves to the continental breakfast, our neighbours looked very appetising. There were lots of extras in the room, not only biscuits but sweets as well to go with the tea making faciity.
Hosts were genuinely very friendly at all times, with nothing too much trouble and came to our rescue by posting back an item we had forgotten and refused postage.
An out of the way location but the coast is 15 minutes drive away with a nice harbour at Watchet and a large beach at Blue Anchor. We will be staying again.
