“Oscar-Winning food.”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

Clean, and refreshing atmosphere. Food is top-notch. Small inside but food is to die for! You can taste every ingredient. If you are not sure of exactly what you want, ask for the take-out brochure which is more descriptive. Don't drive past it. It is located in a corner lot. When you go inside, there is another door with no window, but once you open that door, you are in for a treat!

“Best Thai in the Southwest Suburbs!”
Reviewed 21 February 2014 via mobile

We saw a write up on this restaurant in the local paper and were just waiting to go. We've lived here for 15 years in a Thai food desert. No longer. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly. Three of us ate the spring rolls, chicken satay, pad Thai, yellow chicken curry and pineapple rice. All were great and the check was only $43. They willingly customized the dishes based on my daughter's food sensitivities. We will be back!!

“What thai is all about”
Reviewed 8 February 2014

Authentic Thai food is not for wussies. The spice in Thai food is used to enhance the subtle flavors. This is where Joy of Thai excels. They use only the freshest of ingredients including the vegetables and do not make the mistake of most Thai restaurants of adding heat just for heat sake. Of the four different dishes we had,
all were labeled as med spicy, but all were different in the heat based on the flavors of each dish. Just enough to light up the flavors and no more. The place is small, 10 tables and new. Word however gets around fast. Wait staff knows each dish and can tailor to taste. All dishes were excellent, clean plates all around. Try the crab Rangoon and spring rolls. You'll see what I mean by fresh.
