“Awesome!!!”
Reviewed 27 March 2010

My family and a couple of school friends took the Safari option and travelled with a bus that carried 18 people. We stayed at Pleasure Bay for 7 nights and had an awesome experience! The R & R specials each night, the beach, chalets, food, service, staff, everything was GREAT! We had a blast and will definately return in the near future! Thanks so much guys!

A couple of friends stayed at Pleasure Bay Resort in August. The roads in Mozambique are still crap in places, especially north of Xai-Xai, so don't drive it at night! Pleasure Bay has recently been undergone an ownership and a management change. We stayed in the newly upgraded Manatee chalet. It was much more than we expected in Mozambique. Hot water, electricity with a full stocked kitchen which included a fridge and microwave. It has great views of the reef and the ocean. We spend hours on the veranda watching whales leap out of the water. The restaurant is great. The barman, Salvador, is something to experience. If you've been there, you'll know what i mean and have a little grin on your face while reading this! They do not have a dive center, but i believe it is planned for 2010. We dived at Paindane. If you want value for money and real people to take care of you, this is the place.
