“Great place to chill!”
Reviewed 7 April 2013 via mobile

Thank you Catharina for being tentative to the small little extra things, mentioned during our telephone conversations, it impressed, e.g. the coffee plunger and ample supply of fresh towels. You made doing business with Bay view lodge very easy! Your advice and suggestions positively influenced our decision to visit Mozambique. Bay view lodge offers the opportunity to enjoy a quiet and peaceful getaway or if being surrounded by other holiday makers float your boat just wait outside Bay View's gate, Barra lodge's shuttle passes every hour enabling you to visit either Flamingo lodge or Barra Lodge, of which the latter offers various excursions and activities. Dinner at the Green Turtle, 2 minutes from the lodge, is a must, the owner is a great hostess and her stuffed Lulas (calamari) to die for! Once again the small little extra things that contributes to a guest's experience and feeling that she must have expected her customers! Locals come around every morning, accompanied by a guard from the lodge, to sell fresh sea food, freshly baked bread, fruit and veggies!

We had a awesome 10 days holiday at Bayview Lodge in Moz in December. The friendlyness from the security at the gate to the cleaning staff really made a difference in having a joyfull holiday vs a frustrating holiday. Management were really going out there way to accomodate us where ever possible. We thank Dianne & John for the excellent service we got when visiting Bayview Lodge. Will definately be back. The only other posibility my husband would have loved is if John put a fish at the end of his line when he reelled it in. (He was trying to catch fish from the surf but was not very sucessfull. He did manage to catch a crab though LOL)

Room Tip: We were only 2 people and stayed in Chalet no 4. For us the chalet were spacious enough and was lit...

What a joyful experience. The little touches really made us felt welcomed. The advert mentioned the mosquito nets and for the first time it was true and not only a promise. The high security that you guys ensure was making us feel safe and added to the relaxation of the holiday. My husband even created a new name due to the wonderful beach calling it whispering sands. We will visit again.

Room Tip: All units are well situated. We stayed in no 3, that was close to everything.

This was the third time we have stayed at Bay View Lodge, and we will be going agian next year. The location is superb right on the beach. The chalets are well equiped and serviced daily. The restaurant that has opened there on the beach is fabulos. Well run with the extra little touchs that make it stand out from the others. Furthermore the French couple running it are truly professional and the food amazing, highly recomend.

All in all from the booking stage, Catharina, is so fantastic and helpful an abouslute gem, to the people at the resort we are truly happy.

I am passing the word on and hope to bring more people there.

What a wonderful place to spend your holiday or even your honeymoon! My wife and I stayed at another lodge not far from Bay View Lodge, and the service there was terrible. We decided to look for another place to spend our honeymoon. The Bay View Lodge management went the extra mile from the moment we walked in. A bottle of champagne and a card to congratulate us waited for us in our room when we got there. There is a beautiful white beach that doesn’t feel commercialised. Amazing restaurant with exceptionally well prepared and well-presented food!! We will most definitely go there again!! Recommended for everyone!!
