We arrived on a Saturday morning for our bank holiday break, and we couldn't have been more welcomed. Pat and Vince are super helpful - not only with suggestions of things to do, but also offering to drive us to the station - a very sweet touch. The cottage is quite near other places of interest, so it was easy to get around to places such as Bradford on Avon and Bath.
The room was very cozy and quiet, with a lovely view.
Noteworthy is the delicious full breakfast, with Pat's own marvelous muesli - which should be sold in the markets!
Overall, a delightful b&b, with fantastic hosts, and we will definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed two nights at Angel Cottage and felt at home immediately. Pat and Vince were so pleasant and helpful. The great breakfast and helpful tips made a great start to my vacation. The conservatory (sun room) was a great place to relax with the morning cup of coffee. The nearby rail platform makes travel to Bath or Braford-on-Avon so easy.

Angel Cottage is the perfect location for a holiday in the West Wilts area. Close to many attractions and sites, the American traveller will get many suggestions from wonderful hosts, Pat and Vince. And the Cottage is very close to a main line train station for a quick trip to London or Bath. Excellent breakfasts that last well past lunch time!

Our trip to angel cottage was lovely from the moment we stepped in.
Pat and Vince made myself and my boyfriend very welcome.
The rooms were very clean and tidy along with some lovely little touches (tea and coffee bits and pieces with biscuits in a little pot hidden in a cupboard under the tv!) There were sweets in a bowl on the window sill and dvds along the corridor to help yourself if you felt inclined (very special touch).
Outside the window were two lovely sheep and next door's chickens/sheep.

The breakfast was tasty and there was a choice of whatever you wanted: bacon, eggs, tomato, mushrooms and beans, a selection of toast, jams, cereals and yogurts.
I had scrambled egg on toast on the last morning and it wasnt too much trouble for the delightful couple!
They always had helpful hints and tips for us and even went out their way to write directions on a piece of paper for our trip to longleat.
I honestly recommend this b&b to everyone.

My boyfriend and I visited for our birthdays last April. We had wanted originally to stay in Bath as we love the city but found the hotel prices a bit too much. I stumbled across the website for the Angel Cottage and decided to go for it. As we arrived we were welcomed by Vince and Pat who then had to rush out as a family member was in labour! The cottage was absolutely stunning, and we had recently moved into our new home so I was looking for ideas! The room was so cozy and clean. There was even a little teddy bear couple on our bed :) We went for lunch in a nearby country pub (The Bell I believe) and out for a meal in Bradford-upon-Avon in the evening and then into Bath the following day. The location was lovely, it was nice to be a bit out of the way as we explored places we wouldn't have before and it was nice and quiet. (It was our first break away from our then 10 month old little boy so the peace and quiet was very welcome!) the breakfast the next morning was amazing, Vince and Pat were so lovely and we would definitely go back. Stunning!

We found our rooms a welcome haven from our trip; clean, comfortable and with everything you could possible need. I should have taken a picture of the breakfast table - it was covered with delicious options and the most beautiful china and settings. The real bonus at Angel Cottage however, are the wonderful owners Pat and Vince who could not do enough for you. They helped with travel ideas and arrangements and were determined to make us feel at home. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality.
