“An Excellent Stay”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

This B and B is in an excellent location and we found it ideal after spending a day in Bath.

The room and breakfast were excellent.

The attention to detail on the fixtures and fixings is superb.

Very peaceful night's sleep and the owners easy to get on with and very pleasant.

Highly recommend.

We found in this cottage the ideal solution to visit Bath and Stonehenge. It's in between this nearby, and furthermore the B&b is lovely! The rooms are new and clean, the garden just before the window is amazing with sweet animals giving you the right countryside atmosphere. You can also enjoy a tasty breakfast by Pat & Vince, who are very nice and brilliant! We will come back!

For a shopping trip to Bath, my daughter and I stayed here for 1 night rather than pay the expensive prices in Bath. Although a 20 minute journey from Bath, we couldnt have chosen a better place. The Cottage was beautifully furnished and decorated and was spotlessly clean and the hosts could not have been more friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommond this B&B and would stay there again.

As a couple we stayed here for one night beginning of October when we began our trip through southeast England.
Pat and Vince were very welcoming and super helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed in particular the lovely atmosphere of this cottage and the attention to every detail. The room was very cosy and we could even watch a DVD in the evening if we felt like it. In the backyard there are two or three sheep which added for me to the lovely atmosphere.
I will definitely recommend this cottage to my friends!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night back in March 2013, on the easter weekend. Right from when we booked it Pat and Vince were ever so helpful and imediately we were pleased we had chose it. When we arrived, we were thoroughly welcomed and the cottage is absolutely adorable! Our room was so cosy and imaculate. We had the animals next door just outside our window, we loved it! Pat and Vince had put chocolates on the side for us and tea and coffee which was a lovely touch. The village was lovely to have a drive through and being that we were from London, loved the Countryside! We went into Bath to go to spa that day, then drove back to Angel cottage got changed (fab shower) and went into Bath for dinner and drinks. Not a problem at all, it took 20 minutes maximum to drive. The railway to Bath is also nearby which although we didn't use, sounded ideal. The breakfast the next morning was superb and we couldn't have wished for better hosts. I would highly recommend staying at this gorgeous b&b and I must add that we stayed at Marco Pierre White's Pear Tree Inn the next night and if I had the choice I'd go back to Angel Cottage over there in a heartbeat.

Great service, great location and a real traditional stay in the Countryside!

We arrived on a Saturday morning for our bank holiday break, and we couldn't have been more welcomed. Pat and Vince are super helpful - not only with suggestions of things to do, but also offering to drive us to the station - a very sweet touch. The cottage is quite near other places of interest, so it was easy to get around to places such as Bradford on Avon and Bath.
The room was very cozy and quiet, with a lovely view.
Noteworthy is the delicious full breakfast, with Pat's own marvelous muesli - which should be sold in the markets!
Overall, a delightful b&b, with fantastic hosts, and we will definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed two nights at Angel Cottage and felt at home immediately. Pat and Vince were so pleasant and helpful. The great breakfast and helpful tips made a great start to my vacation. The conservatory (sun room) was a great place to relax with the morning cup of coffee. The nearby rail platform makes travel to Bath or Braford-on-Avon so easy.
