Great location, lovely clean site. However campers beware no talking or laughing loudly, playing music of any sort. This is a tranquil site. Was told at 9.30pm that the owner didn't want to be able to hear a pin drop after 10.00pm

We first stayed at New Hall Farm, or 'Dave's' as we have come to know it, early last year and since then have enjoyed several short stops here in our VW campervan. It is a quiet (adults only), basic, spotlessly clean, friendly campsite set in rolling Nottinghamshire countryside.

Farmer-owners Gill and Dave provide a friendly welcome and maintain the site to a very high standard. The toilet and shower block in particular is spotless. A highlight is Saturday evenings when they serve up delicious roast beef baps (beef is from their own herd).

A lovely walk across the fields brings you to the Reindeer pub in Edingley, which serves decent food - be aware that it's a steep walk back! A short drive away is the interesting town of Southwell with its Minster and restored workhouse, and a bit further afield is Clumber Park. So plenty to do over a couple of nights stay.

Really can't recommend this site enough for a peaceful getaway.
