Hotel is extremely clean, well ornamented, comfortable. Breakfast selection was excellent with ample hot and cold choices. USA Today and local papers were available. Room (2 queens) was very spacious. Internet connection worked great. We enjoyed the decor. The motif is very fresh. Hotel seems to be popular with business travelers.

We were on a driving trip and had just survived driving through Chicago rush hour. It was a very welcomed place to stay at the end of a long day. We didn't have a reservation and we were glad we stayed here. This hotel will become a regular stop on our trips east.

We arrived in the evening and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful hotel manager who checked us in effortlessly. The lobby was absolutely clean and fresh, like our room and even the bathroom. Though the hotel was full it was quiet and made for rest after a day's travel.
A simple, but hot breakfast is available in the morning. There are plenty of reasonable places to eat along the main thoroughfare too.
This Fairfield Inn is a wonderful property. I give it high recommendations.

Room Tip: Our fourth floor, even number room was quiet.

After driving about 8 hours, through Chicago traffic, and into a very bad thunderstorm with tree limbs down, and flash flooding, we arrived at the Fairfield Inn in Rockford. We did not have reservations, but that didn't keep us from getting a very comfortable room. The Fairfield Inn is nice and inviting in the Lobby as shown in the photos of the website. The reception we recieved was very nice and the room was clean. The bed was so relaxing! It was a great way to rest after the long day! The next morning as we loaded the car, the staff was still so very pleasant! After we loaded the car, we went back in for the hot breakfast and again we were not disappointed. It was busy, and there were many other guests that were preparing for their day, but the staff member in the dining room kept the food provided and I noticed that when one guest asked for "gluten free" cereal, he went and located to varieties that were what the guest wanted! This was planned for in case it was needed instead of a "we're sorry, we don't have it" excuse! Well done! This is what keeps us returning to Fairfield Inn & Suites!

This hotel is by far the best one in Rockford! The entire staff is excellent and the rooms are spotless! I came to visit some family and rather than being cramped in their home I chose to stay at Fairfield. I have had bad experiences with hotels in the past and was hesitant to stay, but I am glad I chose here. I will definetly be staying here again next time I'm in town.

We stayed here on our way to MN and this was our second time here. We stayed here three years ago and found the hotel to still be beautiful, clean and the staff was great! Linens were fresh and clean, the hotel was clean and there was plenty of food at breakfast. The price was fair and competitive. We definitely will make this a stop over point on future trips north.
