“Great location and lovely view”
Reviewed 17 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Bathampton is very picturesque. It is a lovely 45 minutes walk from Bath along the canal. The flat itself has a charming view and is well appointed.

“Perfect family accomodation in Bathampton”
Reviewed 2 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Superb barn by a charming canal leading straight to Bath within a short walk/bike.
The flat is absolutely perfect: bright, cosy and in excellent condition.
Living room has extra large sofa, excellent quality TV and dvd player, and log fire. Thank you for the xsmas tree!
Separate dining room/kitchen fully equiped (Smeg oven, large fridge, thats nice!) allowing to cook proper family meals.
Both living room and kitchen (and the main bedroom) overlook the canal and cottages around: enchanting view really.

Everything is well thought of and we had a wonderful stay. Plus thoughful presents upon arrival: bottle of wine, biscuits and fresh flowers, wao!

The barn is close to Bath (walk, bike, bus, taxi <10mn) but also very conveniently located for visits to Corsham, Castle Combe, Lacock, Dyrham Park ...

We will definitely come back, in summer to enjoy the changing landscape :-)
Thank you so very much Paul and Christina.

“Tidy, slicence, cozy and comfort”
Reviewed 30 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We are 6 people in group and included kid and infant. Paul is very kind and helpful. He gave me the informations about how to get there, how to take the keys , visitor information, restaurants' information, etc. All are very detail and clear.
The place is not big, but it is very tidy, cozy, clean and comfort. All the beddings, utensils are clean and perfect. We all have the home feelings.

“Lovely apartment ”
Reviewed 5 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We spent 3 nights at canal view, felt homely and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Kitchen was well equipped and lots of condiments, tea and coffee also milk in the fridge. Also bottle of wine which was nice. Everywhere was lovely and clean. I found the bed very comfortable. I found the owner very helpful and quick to respond to queries.
It is about a 2 mile pleasant walk into central Bath along the tow path, although wouldn't want to do it in the dark.
On the whole a fab place to stay would definitely return.

“Lovely stay in a charming, clean property”
Reviewed 13 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

My family stayed three nights at Canal View and were very charmed by the property and location. It's easy to find and easy to park. Get directions from Paul to the property; there's something about the Bath area that seems to confuse the GPS. Wifi worked flawlessly. The fireplaces were both prepared for burning, and I can't tell you what a pleasure it was for Midwesterners to be able to enjoy a fire in August! Paul had very quick and pleasant responses to my questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Liked best: Scenic location
Liked least: One bedroom is separated from the living room with curtains, so late-night TV watching might disturb whomever is sleeping there, although it was not an issue for us.
