This place has been open for a few years now and is a great addition to the area! I would say it is primarily a Vietnamese pho house and – by my estimation – fairly authentic. They have several different varieties of pho, several varieties of Banh Mi sandwiches, some grilled dishes (pork and shrimp mostly), as well as some pan Asian specialties like Singapore noodles, Thai curry and such. I have eaten in before but primarily get stuff for take away. The restaurant itself is fairly large – it doesn’t have a ton of atmosphere, but it is clean and has tons of both table and booth seating. I have NEVER had a bad meal at this place – ever!!! Some of my favorites:
Let’s start with appetizers – my favorites are the sizzling crepe, fresh spring rolls, salt and pepper squid, chicken wings and pot stickers. All are like 5 bucks or less, but I will say, the squid does not travel well – better to order that only if dining in.
I have tried the Pho, but I really am not a soup person at all – the flavors are there and it is a very fresh and quality product – just not my thing
The grilled plates – usually have noodle or rice alongside grilled pork or grilled shrimp and some veggies – these are quite nice and at around 8 bucks cheaper than most fast food places – certainly a better value!
Banh Mi – if you’ve not had Banh mi before, you need to try them. A crusty French baguette filled with pork or chicken, carrot, sprouts, jalapeno and such – amazing, and at around 4 bucks each, you’ll wonder why you ever thought the 5 dollar foot long at Subway was a good deal.
Probably my favorite dish though – the three cup chicken…it is chunks of chicken, ginger and garlic all simmered in a clay pot and it is absolutely amazing!
You cannot beat the flavors, price, value or quality of this awesome Pho house!
