Where to start. You have this amazing diamond in the rough. The rolling hills and little ponds and forest are a solid 10. The actual beds were comfy and the units pretty cute and serviceable. Carmella was a pleasure to speak with before our arrival and did exactly as she said in the placement of our units. We were so excited to arrive but found housekeeping, maintenance and service response to be a solid 4. We booked 2-2bedroom units and 1-1bedroom presidential unit, expending a huge amount of our points and funds to do so and had to deal with: smoke alarms beeping incessantly, ice makers not working first and then producing only 6 ice cubes every day?, the oven temperature was not accurate, the counters were not wiped down and the toaster was not cleaned so crumbs and general soil/dust everywhere - yuck! We were there 8 days and got absolutely no housekeeping and no refreshing of towels, toiletries, paper towels, cleaning supplies? Our other vacation club, we get a trash and tidy every 3rd day. It is preposturous that we expended that amount of funds AND a year and a half of vacation points to get NO housekeeping services for an 8 day stay! The back patio of each unit had NOT been swept and was full of cobwebs, bugs, and general lawn care debris. Speaking of bugs, are the grounds ever treated for bugs? The amount of bugs was unreal - we couldn't even sit outside and went thru so much bug spray as to not be healthy. There are 17 builds chock full of people and only 2 picnic tables and 2 grills per building? That is ridiculous. The sleeper sofas are old and lopsided in each of the 3 units - lots of complaints from our family. In rm 212, the water heater in the 2nd bedroom never produced hot water in 8 days. They had tepid water and were never able to take a hot shower. July 4th is of course going to be a busy day but they did not amp up the seating nor umbrellas at the pool, and finding a clean towel was quite the challenge. FAIL. Finally, as to wifi. Do not advertise that you have wifi anywhere. There is no wifi service. We were not able to get a solid signal for work nor social media anywhere on property including the activity center. In this day and age, that is a solid, no holds barred Fail. Summary - we loved being together with family and loved the area but regret expending the cost of flights, points, and paying for the extra unit. I don't think I'll get to plan the next family event after this experience.
We ended up in a Lodge unit rather than a Presidential (we own a presidental at Silverleaf Branson Holiday Hills. The unit did not have a jacuzzi as stated but was a disabled unit and had a different bath configuration. The seat in the bath area had tears on the rubber seat provided.
The timing of our getaway there was perfect as the foliage was changing and the scenery was spectacular. We took many pictures as keepsakes. The resort is close to many areas of activity such as Starved Rock State Park and Utica. We took a trolley ride at Starved Rock and saw much historical and beautiful sites. We would visit again.
The activity center and member registration area was under remodelling, so it wasn't as smooth as usual, however we were directed by security and signs to where we were to go in an acceptable manner.
The indoor pool was closed and that was a disappointment. We feel we should have been notified before our stay that it would be closed.

Had my grandkids (10 and 12 year old boys) and we had a great time. They enjoyed the outdoor pool and miniature golf plus the free movie rentals. Also got a chance to go to the nearby indoor pool (Pirate's Cay) which was a blast. The condo was in excellent shape. I hope to go next year with my other grandkids.
Nice resort with lots of amenities. They have "Lodges" and "Presidential's" that you can stay in. If you get one of the lodges try to get on the top (2nd or 3rd) floor, otherwise you will hear the people walking above you or the water running. I can't speak for the presidential's because I haven't stayed in one, only looked at them (very nice and roomy). There is lots of things to do there, you can swim, play mini golf, basketball, volleyball, tennis, shuffleboard, baseball. You can even fish & BBQ. If you have a RV you can even bring that because there is full hookup sites to use for a price. In the summer they have an outdoor pool and horseback riding. They also have an indoor pool too so you can swim in the winter. If you like to ski in the winter you can get some skis in the member services building along with games and DVDs. There is a brand new water park on property that you can use for a price.
