We stayed one night at the Snow White Inn for a wedding in Langham & were very disappointed. The location is convenient - just 31 kms North of Saskatoon on Hwy 16 with easy access & plenty of parking. However being so close to the highway may concern light sleepers.
The rooms had been renovated but so many things were left unfinished: no baseboards, bathroom mirror not hung up (just sitting on counter), no caulking, cupboard doors not hung, etc. There are no lamps, only the overhead lights. No shampoo/conditioner & a small sliver of soap, which I'm not completely convinced was unused. Hot water takes a looooong time to get flowing. New TV though.
There was a bit of an odour in the rooms (both ours & a family member who also stayed in another room). The walls are beat up & marked, the window sills were dirty, light fixtures had dead bugs in them... all things that could easily be cleaned & help the overall feeling of the motel.
The beds did not have mattress covers, thin sheets & only one small blanket. The manager did say at checkout more blankets would have been provided, if asked.
The whole place just looks a little unkept & incomplete: there is writing on the walls/doors instead of signs or lettering, dead or dying hanging baskets & general untidiness of the property.
And the price is sketchy too. Apparently, there are signs along the highway quoting $69 & $79 dollars. When we phoned to inquire & book, were were given $89 & upon check in, the price was $109. My family member paid more than quoted, too.
We weren't in the room very long to really be bothered too much by the room, but certainly wouldn't recommend it & would try hard not to stay there again. If you're stuck due to weather or really tired, you could do worse. But perhaps there is a better one a ways up the highway.
