This is Ireland's best tourist attraction. I really felt proud of the quality and service we received.
To see some of the great national hunt horses capped it off for us. Beef or salmon, kicking king and see the stars. I

The gardens are so beautiful that even non horse passionates should pay a visit. In particular the japanese gardens are of a stunning beauty and I am sure that Japanese people think the same.
The stallions kept are among the best animals one can see in the horse world. I have great expectations from some of them that are still at the beginning of their career. Stables, walkways, paddocks, ponds, little rivers are all kept so well that one rarely sees this. All the staff is admirable, competent and willing to pay the due attention to their clients, everything was really impeccable. We will definitely go back.

I took my parents there when they were over for a vist, and we had a great day. The tour of the Stud is very intreesting, you learn a lot about how race horses are bred and reared, you also get to see may of the famous horses they have. If you're interested in horses, horse racing or animals in general it's well worth a visit. There's also the Japense Gardens which are great for a relaxing walk around.

I visited the Irish national stud and japenese gardens today with an 8, 10, and 12 year olds. What a brilliant day we had.
We were greeted at reception with very friendly staff and had some chat back and forth. Which is always welcome. Thank you. Family ticket was €29. Very well priced. And today included free pony rides and face painting. Which greatly appealed to younger too.
We did the gardens which are really pretty and so so many photographic opportunities. We had lunch which is also very well priced, freshly made and map delicious. Staff also very chatty and friendly. Again always welcome.
Then onto pony ride which my younger too really enjoyed but skipped face painting. And made it too the stud tour for 2.30, where Rob gave us so much information that kept us enthralled for an hour. Jeez, he knew his stuff
We were free to roam around having learned so much on the tour.
The kids also loved the playground on site. The overall layout is very accessible, the scenery is fabulous.
We spent 5 hours altogether and had the best day.
Looking forward to going back in the new year when Rob advises things "get much busier" breeding season.
Overall, this was a 10/10 family day out.

Thank Ann O
