Best B & B we stayed in during our three week visit of Australia and New Zealand. The breakfasts were simply delicious and plentiful.......can't say enough about the quality and quantity. The hosts (Julian and Brom) go out of their way to make your stay and visit to Sydney as enjoyable as possible. Great accomodations and wonderful neighborhood - restaurants, groceries, wine merchants, local pubs. Very easy to get downtown, either by bus or train.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our honeymoon. We stayed in several B&B thereafter but this on was by farthest the best we had. Brom and Julian are the best hosts you could imagine, they even asked for dietary needs i.e. Soymilk. The house is really cute and one can tell that both worked in Fashion/Arts when you see the inside of the house with its paintings, sculptures and the mix of old and new furniture. Our room was really nice and the shared bathroom was great! It´s the little details that count, like the pickup/dropoff to wherever you need it or the different treats they prepared aside from the lavish breakfast i.e. Tortilla, DimSum,...
One downside is the Sydney bussystem: You´ll need at least 30 minutes from Tara to Circular Quay and over an hour to Bondi Beach

From the moment we walked in we felt at ease. Both Brom and Julian are welcoming and warm people - the fruit platter and a cup of tea was a lovely touch. It was our first experience with kids and B&B, and it went well. The house is spacious, our room was huge, and I seriously had the best sleep ever on our bed. The breakfasts are amazing, location great. Would highly recommend!

Just spent two nights at the best B&B ever. Gracious hosts, Brom and Julian, looked after our every need. Had a splendid breakfast each day - yum cha if we wanted, in addition to the normal bacon and eggs, etc. The second breakfast also included some Indian delights, as there was a young Indian couple staying and Brom cooked up some steamed 'Idlies' stuffed with cashews and coriander for them (we just had to try!). Julian was the chauffeur extraordinaire and picked us up at Central Railway Station and also dropped us back. He also provided us with transport to Bondi (which is a bit difficult to get to) knowing that we were very limited for time. B&J also recommended a nearby restaurants on their website. La Ricetta was fantastic - best food I have had in ages with a 10% discount when we mentioned where we were staying (will do a separate review for this), Thanks Brom and Julian - we had a terrific couple of days and we will certainly be returning.

Fantastically convenient location & great value. Hard to know which is more gracious, the eclectically decorated, spaciously proportioned, luxuriously comfortable rooms or the generous hosts whose hospitality is second to none! As well as being charming & helpful, Julian & Brom offer a culinary feast for breakfast & airport collection & drop off. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer.
