the park here is lovely as is the café and bar on site EXCEPT.................. if you decide you want to buy a drink.
We visited here on Friday nite. Now don't get me wrong ..........we did not have a caravan on the site and were not holiday makers...but we are locals who visited here regularly both the bar and the café - even when it is cold and wet and not another sole in sight !
Now there is a rule that on a Friday and Saturday it is members only and you have to show a membership card to buy a drink. OK I understand especially if the bar is full .....however there was one man nursing a pint on the end of the lounge bar and the rest of the lounge was empty and I mean empty.
Then we were told very rudely and very abruptly by a female that we could not buy two drinks as we had no membership card - and talk about looking down her nose at us !!

Customer service - NOT EXISTANT - god help the holiday makers. This is a disgrace for a local business - ,as we are now not welcome we will go elsewhere and tell all of our local friends .

good luck holiday makers but make sure you have a membership card or the rotwiller will get you !

We recently bought a caravan near Tides and have used the Bistro numerous times over the last few weeks.
The food & service have always been good and reasonably priced.
The all day breakfast is excellent value and not at all greasy as some can be.
Tides is perfectly situated for a walk or ride along the coast.
We are becoming regulars already.
