When ordering, one is asked which table one is sitting at. Being on my own, I can say no.15 or whatever, but by the time I go to sit at the table named, someone else from the beach has come in and is sitting there. It's not that big a place and it's not difficult for the waitress to find the customer. They should abolish this new rule.

Customer service today was terrible. Ordered coffee and toast. Coffee appeared and I was told "toast will be along soon". 20 minutes later - by which time the coffee was well cold - toast still hadn't appeared. When I queried where it was, I was told someone had thought it had been served and the chitty the order was written on had been destroyed.

“customer service - non existant”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

the park here is lovely as is the café and bar on site EXCEPT.................. if you decide you want to buy a drink.
We visited here on Friday nite. Now don't get me wrong ..........we did not have a caravan on the site and were not holiday makers...but we are locals who visited here regularly both the bar and the café - even when it is cold and wet and not another sole in sight !
Now there is a rule that on a Friday and Saturday it is members only and you have to show a membership card to buy a drink. OK I understand especially if the bar is full .....however there was one man nursing a pint on the end of the lounge bar and the rest of the lounge was empty and I mean empty.
Then we were told very rudely and very abruptly by a female that we could not buy two drinks as we had no membership card - and talk about looking down her nose at us !!

Customer service - NOT EXISTANT - god help the holiday makers. This is a disgrace for a local business - ,as we are now not welcome we will go elsewhere and tell all of our local friends .

good luck holiday makers but make sure you have a membership card or the rotwiller will get you !

“Great location, meals, service & pricing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

We recently bought a caravan near Tides and have used the Bistro numerous times over the last few weeks.
The food & service have always been good and reasonably priced.
The all day breakfast is excellent value and not at all greasy as some can be.
Tides is perfectly situated for a walk or ride along the coast.
We are becoming regulars already.
