“Dissappointed”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

Our room was nice, BUT, no meat at breakfast AND for some reason they grouped dogs in rooms on the first floor together!!! All night the first night 2 separate dogs, one small one very loud big dog barked constantly! The next morning I asked if they grouped dogs together all the time, they said no, and they would contact the owners. The next night was about the same, needless to say, not much sleep. We stay at La Quinta all over the country and never have dogs been grouped like this. We kept our two small dogs quite, which was difficult with all the others taking up the call when the two started up. So now we have to drive our semi, with little sleep, thanks La Quinta, no thanks, will not stay here again!!!

I used 15,000 La Quinta points for one of my nights free. Upon arrival the lobby and the second Floor Smelled really bad like SMOKE. Then while we entered our room it smelled like a skunk there was only one little bar of soap for all five us for two days our room was not cleaned after the first day. The Pool area had the same cigarette butt sitting in the same ashtray for two days, and the Pool water was cold, and Security and the staff were RUDE. As you can tell with being a gold card member with La Quinta I usually stay with La Quinta alot With Service like this I may begin to rethink my decision.

Took 30 minutes to check in, because it took 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. No one could find the manager. You need carnival bracelets to get into the pool. If it breaks while you're in the pool, sercurity you make you get out of the pool to get a new one. I saw a little girl standing there freezing with a broken braclet in her hand during our 30 minute check in time while the security guard waited. We checked into three rooms - In one room - no working television, no phone, Swim suit and shorts found hanging in the bathroom, and door wouldnt lock. In the other room - hotel key never worked, staff had to let me in. In the other room toilet wouldn't work. Internet is only strong enough to check email, if you want to watch a movie you can forget it. This is our first and last stay here.

Booked a room at this property via Hotels.com for a mid-week shopping trip to the Chicago area. Price including tax was $100 for one night. Requested a handicapped accessible room and when we arrived and saw the room only had a full size bed with not much space to navigate within the room. I think this was a standard room remodeled to make it accessible hence not a lot of extra space inside the room itself. We returned to the front desk and the staff was very helpful in reassigning us a standard room with a king size bed (non handicapped accessible bathroom) which turned out O.K. for just a one night stay. There is an elevator adjacent to the lobby (the only one in the building).
While the lobby area was non-smoking, we detected a significant smoke smell which permeated the main floor and hallway. Once we reached our room on the 3rd floor there was no smell.
Even though we were on the 3rd floor and at the backside of the building we heard some outside noise from truck traffic and vehicle backup alarms. Also able to hear hallway noise and the floor above had someone walking back and forth which we heard until about 11 PM. Not serious but noticeable and did not disturb us once we were asleep. The room was clean and nicely appointed although the apartment sized refrigerator made noise when it cycled on and off.
Breakfast the next morning was standard fare but had a good selection of items and was clean and maintained.
We felt the room was overpriced based upon previous stays at other properties in the area and the smell, noise factor, etc. would probably prevent us from staying here again. Based on our experience we would NOT recommend this property although none of the issues we encountered were serious.

We booked the room a month in advance through the hotel's website only to find out the hotel was overbooked and we would have to get a cot. That was fine, they discounted the room a little, we can deal with that, though not impressed. We ended up having to ask for the cot 3 times before it showed up (several hours later at 10pm). The best part, it comes unmade, dropped off at the door... Really?! We don't get the room we reserved and have to make our own bed!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We came for a one night stay for the weekend . Very friendly and very clean hotel. The complimentary breakfast was nice also. We enjoy the outside surrounding of the hotel . You have any restaurants and the Orland Park mall is not far too.
