This small museum is outstanding and, frankly, needs far more publicity. The admission could be three times as much and you wouldn't complain. The exhibits are absolutely fascinating and it takes a long time to take them all in.The Staff are pleasant, welcoming and informative which enhances the visit. For any pupil studying the two world wars at school, this museum brings it all to life.we will return.

“Plane-ly interesting!”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

Well preserved and looked after exhibits even though some of it has that home-made look. You can see it is lovingly looked after. The assortment of aircraft and memorabilia are impressive and it makes a good partner to the Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial across the car park. Well worth a visit.

“Very informative and interesting”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 via mobile

We popped in here as the hurricane and spitfire was closed. It is a little gem offering a real slice of RAF history. It is much larger than I anticipated and great value for money. Everyone will love getting up close to the great collection of planes and the informative displays.

“Next to the Spitfire/Hurricane Museum.”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

How convenient, two great little museums only a few yards apart. A wonderful way to wile away a couple of hours, lots to see and some unusual aircraft items like cockpits removed from their doner planes. Good ww11 display and a great selection of models to buy in the entrance shop. With a tiny entrance fee this is another museum not to miss.
