Good location and nice garden with small children’s play area. Ordering sandwiches as a quick lunch but very poor. Basic bread, no butter, very dry depending what filling you order. If there is a next time will definitely order something else.

Visited this pub for a meal with the family on more than one occasion. Reasonable prices, excellent food. Will not be the last visit

Ordered a lunch time sandwich; cheese, tomato, pickle. Bread was cheap white bread. The chap who took our order was curt to say the least, didn’t feel welcomed. The sandwich was two dry slices of cheap white bread and a pre-cut square of cheese. Poorly presented and tasteless which tells me it was low cost ingredients. Would not go back.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting next to Gomshall Mill. The rear garden area located next to the river is quite gorgeous. The service I found was very good. The food was ok but for the price the portion size was quite small. I had the liver with onions and it was served piping hot which is how it should be. In our group we also had fish and chips, plough mans lunch to share, Bri cheese starter and meatballs for the kids. The location is great food ok. Worth a visit.
