“GREAT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE.....WE WILL GO BACK....”

Great hotel no major complaints. Tracey and Fran wonderful people, they really looked out for our church family. We had 18rooms with a total of about 58 ppl so that goes to show you out of those ppl they were satisified. We did have one complaint and that was one of the rooms wasnt pushing out cool air but they took care of it quick and gave us another room with no problems or attitude attached. So if you looking for a cost efficient room close to Six Flags or where ever in that area i do reccommend this hotel. The breakfast layout was good, even though they didnt have the meat the hot breakfast was still fulfilling.

Room Tip: rooms were great beds great overall nice rooms. my tip would be just check and make sure the air is...

My family and I stayed here Thursday, June 23rd through Saturday, June 25th for a Six Flags Great America weekend, it was me and my husband and our two daughters that are 7 and 1. My overall opinion is that is the BEST place for the price you pay!

Location: It's located on the corner of Belvedire and Green Bay Road right behind a diner type restuarant and the Secretary of State's Driver Services office (whom I actually work for!). So do NOT expect any type of a view! It was acutally about 10 minutes from Six Flags and there were restaurants, shopping/groceries, gas stations, banks, etc all around.

Property: There's 2 floors and no elevator so if that's a problem, call the morning of your arrival and request the 1st floor. It can't be garunteed, but they will try. I did it and it worked for me! They have FREE hot breakfast with make-your-own waffles, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, bagels, breads, pastries, eggs, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and milk. Breakfast is starts at 6:30a, get up early because there's only one wafflemaker and you could be waiting. There is limited seating so my advice is to get your food and take it to your room. There's aslo an exercise room to work off all that food with just a treadmill and eliptical machine. Its very cold in there. They have a parking lot that they share with the restaurant and the DMV there.

Room: We had a queen bed with sofabed in our room. The room was small so I don't recommend this hotel for a family with a long stay. Couples, yes. There was a desk, tv, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron with ironing board, and seperate sink area. The sofabed is small too, only big enough for two kids or one adult. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. They didn't have enough towels or pillows for a room that sleeps 3 to 4 people, but when we called we were giving more with no problem. The door key card locks need updating and they need to do something to control guests smoking in their rooms.

I recommend this place for a short stay with a small travel party. Great value for your buck!

Room Tip: Call the morning of your check in to request!

Room was kinda small and carpet was stained. Overall the room was dated except for the furniture which was nice. Was surprised they actually offered "smoking rooms" something you rarely see anymore. So with that in mind, a screen on the window would have been nice to ventilate the room without worrying about bugs coming in.
Staff was very friendly and free breakfast was good. (waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuit/gravy and all the other usual stuff).

We stayed at the Quality Inn in Waukegan for my daughter's boyfriend graduation from the Naval Training Academy. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. Tracy and Fran were always willing to help with directions or any other question we had. The Hotel itself was comfortable and clean. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is staying in the area for the Naval Graduation.

This place is AWFUL!!! It is dirty and smells of mold and moth balls! My friend and I came here because it was decently priced but for the size of the room, the cleanliness and the smell NOT WORTH the price. We walked in here and the first thing we notice is the smell. Then the size of the room. We walk into the bathroom and there is mold in there! We then decided to look at the out our window and there is a brick wall not 2 1/2 feet from the window. When we went to go talk to the guy he didn't offer to change our room. All he said is that we should have come to him sooner. We decided to go check out other hotels and found out the nick name was Jail. There is no elevator I guess the best thing about tis place would be the distance from RTC.

I stay at the Quality Inn in Waukegan for business purposes every weekend. It's a cozy, comfortable hotel that offers every possible amenity--free breakfast, 24-hour coffee and tea in the lobby, hair dryers and coffee makers in the room--you name it, they supply it. What makes this hotel so special, though, is the staff, who go out of their way for you. Ask for Nicholas, Tracy, Bill and Fran, who will call cabs for you, provide you with any personal hygiene item you need, recommend area restaurants, and treat you like a member of their family. The decor and rooms are clean and comfortable. They are accessible to I-94 and Route 41, so it's great if you are visiting Great America or are coming in to visit your son/daughter at Great Lakes Naval base. The only drawbacks are the limited cable TV access, the decor is just average, and the largest bed they have is queensized. As a solo, though, that's fine with me, and everything else, including the moderate price of rooms, more than makes up for it.

We went to our sons Navy PIR and stayed at this hotel. Hotel is close to Navy base and has a complimentary shuttle to take you to graduation and pick you up, which is very nice. The rooms are clean and neat and very reasonably priced. Hot and cold breakfast bar was a nice feature too. The front desk was polite and very helpful. Hotel is also about 5 miles away from Gurnee Outlet mall.
