Stayed here recently with family for a few nights. As others have mentioned Paul is a fantastic host and chef, always available to offer help and advice. He is a real credit to this establishment. We had the family room which was spacious and comfortable. I also like the shared breakfast table as it encouraged my children to develop their social skills and was nice to discuss the days events with the other friendly guests. Well done Paul the rating is thoroughly deserved.

Browsing for a b & b near to Agatha Christie house in Devon and was fortunate enough to find Lower Greenway Farm, a stunning NT house with outstanding host Paul Balaam who provides delicious food with the greatest ease, has extensive local knowledge and an amazing Dr Doolittle approach with a variety of delightful farm animals.
Can't recommend it enough - or wait to return.
Thank you Paul

We arrived at the start of the weekend to celebrate a family 60th birthday, having been able to book all the accommodation for 2 families.
Everyone loved the piglets even before they got through the front door to see inside.
All the bedrooms were wonderful, one with a bathroom bigger than some hotel bedrooms – just take your favourite toiletries with you.
Paul designed the menu and cooked dinner for the second evening – and can he cook! Great food and flavours, difficult to choose the best from the menu, for the first time mussels seemed amazing with a gentle curry sauce – but then the duck with cassoulet was divine and the tomato sauce with pork sublime…..
Breakfasts are amazing from fresh fruit to tasty sausages and bacon – and plenty of it.
The last highlight was meeting one of the piglets Paul has rescued and is hand-rearing.
Take a walk down to Greenway Quay, then pickup the ferry to Dartmouth for a trouble free way to visit Dartmouth.
A really special place to stay, make sure you get Paul to cook for you – you won’t be disappointed.

Lower Greenway Farm is not just a B&B, it is a unique experience and one that is made so by its wonderful host, Paul Balaam. The setting of the farmhouse is perfect, tucked away on the banks of the Dart estuary. The ambiance of the decor is also perfect - smart but at the same time relaxed and comfortable. Top quality bedding and the peace and tranquility of the setting make for a good night's sleep, every night, and the bathrooms are delightful. Take all of this and add to it exquisite food, cooked by a top chef for whom nothing is too much trouble and who also plays the perfect host, and you have the ingredients for an experience you want to shout about but at the same time don't want too many people to know about in case there are no vacancies next time you want to visit! Can't wait to go back again.

Room Tip: A view of the Dart estuary or a view of the farmyard, both are equally charming.
