Visited this place several times. Very traditional Russian food on the menu - tastes great, especially appetizers and soups. The place is small and very nicely decorated, and the service is excellent. And the prices are very reasonable!
We enjoyed almost everything. The "almost" and the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the music. Their live music is terrible - or at least it was in September 2013 when we chose to have a party there. I understand that restaurant music has its specifics, but that's how I am judging it - comparing to other Russian restaurants in Chicago suburbs it IS terrible. Both musicians (the guy and the lady) were rude, the guy would take the money and then not do the requested song, and his singing attempts sounded really bad.
Anyway, I hope the owner does something about their live music. This place could really become something very special with better entertainment. In the mean time we'll go there once in a while for lunch when the music is not playing...
