I make it home to Indiana every year or so and I always plan a dinner at TC's. It is a mid-sized informal restaurant and bar, suitable for families, always busy and always noisy! They have lots of excellent food to choose from (catfish, burgers, soups, salads) but I always go back to the breaded tenderloin sandwich (very difficult to find a good one in New Mexico, where I live). The food is good, sizable portions, reasonably priced and the service is good. My parents are regulars, so most of the wait staff know them well and will greet them with hugs. It is the quintessential small-town restaurant, loved by everyone within a 20 (50?) mile radius. It is worth the drive if you want great hospitality and good food, off the beaten path. The place is busy every evening - I recommend you call ahead and make a reservation, unless you are ok with a possible wait for a table.
