TripAdvisor reviewers said mostly positive stuff.
Always something going on in Bloomington, Indiana (home of IU). Want choices and good prices in hotels? Book early.
Check in was as easy and friendly as I ever experienced. Requested ground floor two days out and got it.
Bathroom was smallish and the fixtures a bit dated; needed re-grouted for aesthetics, but spotless. Soap and shampoo with other needed toiletries promised, gratis, at front desk.
Tiny wear and tear dings here and there, but paint and carpet looked good and were above average clean. Furniture and lamps looked to be pretty new.
Big flat screen with intelligent channel selection – very basic Direct TV I think.
In room safe, thru wall heat/ac unit performed very well, yucky type little coffee maker with caffeinated coffee (often get two decafs), and FREE Wi-Fi. Ice maker handy.
Bed was great! Bright, crispy sheets. Very little wear on mattress. Noise level was very low my night – no disturbances.
Good shower head.
Felt secure. Was comfortable.
Continental breakfast was tiny but fresh. Bagels, pastries, cereal, coffee, juice…..eh.
My only complaint is partly my fault. A hundred bucks for an, at most, sixty-five dollar room. And I shopped around – but two days out in Bloomington is not a good plan. I know better.
