We just go back from a weekend here. We camped here while visiting Shipshewana. It was nice and quiet this time of the year, but it appears the sites are small and it would be crowded and noisy on a summer weekend. The bathroom building despertly needs to be upgraded. My wife complained about it everytime she had to use it. It was an ok place in the off season but would not stay here during the peak season.

We would like to say Thank you for taking time to review our Park and let you know that this past fall we updated our Main Bathouse with new tile, countertops and touchless faucets. Also our Full hook up area was completely renovated and many trees were removed to provide for larger sites with all new 20/30/50 electric, water and sewer hookups. The timbers which were removed were then milled and used to build our latest addition to the park The Comfy Cottage.

This is my 3rd time at Eby's and overall this campground is quite nice. Activities for kids (mostly for younger kids ages 3-13ish), lazer tag and skating rink for those rainy days, small fishing pond and pool/playground area. I feel like my children ages 8, 10 and 12 can ride bike, fish or swim safely and have fun. My biggest problem with Eby's is they say that their pools are heated.??? There is no way on this earth that pool is heated... I just wish they wouldn't put it on their website if it isn't true! We go to the campground with plans on swimming even if the weather isn't 90' because of the heated pool and well again no heat so no swimming for my kids and of course lots of extra $ for the skating and lazer tag...maybe thats the plan? Please heat your pool or take it off the website!

Being our first night in our first rv after our first lessons on hooking up an rv just 30 minutes before arriving at Ebys, we were bowled over with the accommodations and help in seting up. Ebya is a wonderfully shaded rv park with lots of spots to choose from. We chose pull thru #308 near the restrooms. After aour brief survey of whatyou we hadchose gotten ourselves into, Dick, maintenance guy extrordinaire and local comedian, made sure to check in with us often, bringing with him correctly anticipated supplies. The front supply store is well stocked with almost anything you could want or need.. albeit at a premium... bathrooms were older but clean. When we were packing it up, Dick once again came to our rescue... we will be back... and have margaritas ready for our new buddy at quitting time!

What a disappointment! We were given a site that even the neighbors (that are permanent campers) said should have never been rented out. We has a few square feet of sandy dirt filled with holes and not a blade of grass. Our fire ring was at a strange angle and two feet from our door, so couldn't be used or even moved as it was attached to a thick cement block. Upon arriving, we couldn't find our site as most aren't marked or marked well, as are the roads. When we finally got to our site, it was impossible to level our camper on the shifting sand, and our power box was shut off. Had to get someone to come and turn it on. The bathrooms were very inadequate for the crowd and they were dirty. The dumpsters were overflowing with garbage. The sites and so crammed together the campers are almost touching in places. All the roads are within a foot or two of the campers and they are dirt with a little gravel and with all the golf carts running around it is constantly dusty---and I mean clouds of dust. The pools were not too clean, very cloudy, and they allow people to sit by the pools and smoke! Some even had glass bottles of alcohol at the pool. Although they advertise the pools as being heated, they were absolutely FREEZING cold! The is a very small fishing pond, but out of 11 of us trying for hours, not one fish even bit or was detected. I think there might not be any fish in the pond. The only nice thing we found is that there is a county park filled with trails that you can access from Eby's and it is really nice. We walked to an old mill that is still working and got to walk through two waterfalls to get there. Also, we did go rollerskating and play laser tag across the road and that was fun. The facility is really nice and clean. We cannot recommend the campground though, and will never go back.

I really really love this place. We come in the Spring and Fall of each year and stay for several days. There is a lot of hiking and canoeing to do in the area. We love to visit South Bend, Shipshewanna, Middlebury and Elkhart. Eby's Pines is located right in the heart of Northern Indiana Amish Country. The RV park has 2 pools, 2 fishing ponds, basketball, tennis, hiking, biking, a game room, lots of planned activities for the kids.

Room Tip: Be sure to hike over to Bonneyville Mills County park which offers miles of Hiking Trails and adjoin...
