Impossible to fault this B&B. Everything was first class (room, food, hospitality, service) and all within easy walking distance of the centre of Carmel with a good selection of eateries. We will definitely stay tyhere again when in the Indianapolis area.

We stayed here for a girls weekend, and we could not have been more pleased. The B & B is so charming and adorable! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, and the rooms were pristine clean. Loretta & Doug, the owners, were great. They fixed us delicious, gourmet breakfasts that I can't stop thinking about (the best waffles I've ever had in my life!). I guarantee you will not be disappointed--stay here the next time you're in the Indianapolis area.

In other words, the bed was amazingly comfortable. Even the princes from the Princess and the Pea would find no fault with these beds. I was there for business travel and a good night's sleep was very important. The bed more than provided that. The home was lovely and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was also delightful right down to the PERFECT scone. Many of you may have tasted scones, but until this scone, you perhaps tasted something too dry or too soggy. The freshly made scones were delightfully crispy on the top and moist but not too moist on the inside. French press coffee was also served at breakfast. My only complaints: the wi-fi was very slow (which would not affect most travelers, just business ones), the other guests were a little noisy for a "school-night." I still prefer a B&B to a hotel when traveling for business and I definitely recommend this place.

Room Tip: Bathroom sizes varied, I had a fabulously large bathroom, so if that is what you like, request that.

In May, my husband and I left North Alabama planning an all day drive to Oswego, IL. Before we were even near the half-way point, we realized that we were more tired than we had thought and decided to find a place to stay near Indianapolis. Thank God for iPhones! We found the Old Towne Carmel Bed and Breakfast and fortunately they had an opening.

We have stayed in B&Bs all over, and this one ranked at the top! Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect. We were greeted by Doug who showed us around and gave us recommendations for dinner within walking distance. He also asked if we might like a pot of coffee before breakfast - wonderful! We woke to the aroma of breakfast - the reviews I had read were right on about Loretta's cooking skills. Our breakfast started with yogurt, fruit, homemade (yes, homemade) croissants, coffee and juice and that was just the start. Waffles, homemade red blackberry jam, poached eggs with cheese and cream - I can't give a description that does it justice.

We really enjoyed visiting with other inn guests and especially Doug and Loretta, who are the most gracious hosts. Everything was immaculate also from the white table clothes at breakfast to the beautiful room. I highly recommend a stop at Old Towne B&B if you are ever in the Indianapolis/Carmel area.

We stayed at Old Towne Carmel Bed and Breakfast for a reunion. Five girlfriends stayed the weekend and had wonderful time. The decor in simple and elegant, the beds wonderfully comfy and Loretta and Doug were very accomodating. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We rented all three rooms so we had the entire place to ourselves, which made it perfect for our reunion. It is an easy walk to Carmel Arts District. I highly recommend this place!

Loretta and Doug really know what they're doing. We have never seen such a well thought out and pristeen B&B. Loretta is a gourmet cook, with perfect presentation, all in a personal and quaint atmosphere. The attention to every detail from the bedding, to the food and the home itself is unmatched. We go to Indiana to see the Indy 500 but would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling through for any reason at all. Even just a quick getaway. Well worth going out of your way if you're anywhere near Indianapolis. The town of Carmel is simple and charming. The B&B is within walking distance to everything Carmel has to offer. We're looking forward to returning again and again!
