We stayed with Tom, Cheryl & their family for 2 nights whilst attending a Wedding locally. It was our first trip away with our new 3 week old son and though we were nervous about being away from home, we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived due to their friendly greeting and the wonderful room we were allocated - huge bed with crisp linen, walk in wardrobe, en suite with bath & separate shower and plenty of complimentary tea, coffee, fruit juice etc. We were very kindly invited to join the family for dinner the 1st night as I think they realised we wouldn't want to go out with our son to find somewhere to eat. We really felt welcome and not at all like we were imposing, more like we were having dinner with friends.
Breakfast the next morning lived up to the reviews in the visitors book - with nothing being too much trouble. My husband particularly enjoyed the portion size - food that just kept coming!!

After a very large dump of snow the night before we were due to leave; meaning we had to abandon our car at the wedding venue, Cheryl arranged for a friend with a Land Rover to take my husband back to pick it up and follow him back in case he got into trouble - this was above and beyond - something we are hugely grateful for....
We have friends that live locally to Kelmscott House now, so will definitely be keeping in touch with this very down to earth and happy family.
An altogether wonderful first outing away with our son - which we mainly put down to these great hosts. Thanks guys!!

Found Kelmscott purely by chance on Google Earth when checking out the location of a wedding venue nearby, and boy where we happy we did! Cheryl & Tom were wonderful hosts and their wonderful home provided us with superb accomodation. Both of their rooms are spacious, well appointed and very, very comfortable. Breakfast was a delight and nothing was too much trouble for our kind hosts - just don't plan on eating for the rest of the day!

Superb B&B at a great price. Two guest rooms only in this fabulous house. Our large room had large double bed with quality linen, two comfy leather chairs, flat screen TV, free WiFi, walk in wardrobe with tea and coffee making facilities, juices and water (all complimentary). Large bathroom with separate shower and bath.

Very nice full English breakfast, and went to trouble of providing Gluten free sausages for my partner (and Gluten free biscuits in room).

You wont be disappointed - a great find with charming hosts.
