I have been going to this hotel since it opened. I can remember when the brass was shiny and new, looked like gold in all the bathrooms. Although the hotel has undergone a partial remodel, the age of fixtures shows. The toilet being separated from the main bathroom is nice, but the lighting is poor, making it feel like a dungeon. The mini fridge is very convenient, and much better than the expensive mini-bar that it replaced. The beds are, and always have been, extremely comfortable pillow tops. There is some bunching up on the mattresses now, and a bit of a dip towards the middle. In a king-size room, there is a nice chair, along with the standard table and chair. Wifi is like $12 for 24 hours, and should be offered free. The walk to the casino and concourse with all the restaurants and stores is a nice walk, with moving sidewalks for part of the way.Early in the week, restaurant choices are few, as most are closed. Breakfast is at the over-crowded Aroma Cafe in the hotel lobby, or on the boat. We ordered room service, which was surprisingly very reasonably priced. The breakfast pizza is plenty for 2 or 3, and very tasty! Overall, the Horseshoe continues to be a good choice as the place to stay when visiting the casino or attending a show. You will enjoy your experience with all the friendly employees at the casino and the hotel.

The casino was good. Non-Smoking floor was on the first level and I had a good time. Didnt play any slots, but the blackjack was good and fun. Several $5 tables options as minium bet.

The casino snd hotel are starting to show dome age. Not too close to anything, but still worth a visit if you like to travel. Restaurants are shut down early part of wee (Legenda is closed during week) and only jotel snack bar is open for breakfast.

There is a parking garage that has good signage. Check in was easy but we had booked a King and they tried to put us in a queen double. I had a copy of the reservation with me and it was corrected without hesitation. The room was clean and the bathroom large and nice. The only complaint is that they raise the prices of the rooms by more than double when there is a show. I wanted to write this because I had read some negative reviews about the show room. We had a wonderful experience. The security was plenty and the crowd was wonderful. We had a great show seeing George Thorogood. You can not take food or drinks into the showroom but there are bars on both levels. We sat in the balcony and it was a great view. I would definitely go again for another show. We walked to the casino after the show just to check it out. It was very attractive, busy and looked fun for those into that scene. I was impressed with the cleanliness and decor of the entire campus. We also stayed at the hotel which is all connected to the rest of the buildings. It is an easy walk to the show room and casino. On our way back from the casino there was a band playing in a corner area with tables, snackes and drinks. We enjoyed this and people were having a great time watching and dancing. We were able to find a late night snack in the lobby which was great to take up to our room.

We always have a blast at this casino. Played in the slots tournament didn't do so well but loved every minute of it. Won on a new game they just got in.the Buffalo slots. Lost at other slots but thats what happens at casinos. Still enjoyed the time there.
