This family owned and operated campground is great. With over 600 sites and cabins and cottages to rent you won't be disappointed. This campground sells out just about every weekend and is still fairly full during the week. Lots of planed activities ranging from kickball to adult bingo games. 3 pools and a splash pad, indoor pool, gem mining, water ballon wars, paddle boats, putt putt golf... You will not be bored and your kids will sleep good :) Great staff and great all around good time. Come visit Yogi, Cindy and Bo Boo

Our site was #585....horrible traffic noise. Just a few feet away from Toll Road. Yes, it was a nice big site, and not too far from the pool...but there was nothing relaxing about this campsite. In order to drown out the noise to sleep at night we had to keep our air conditioning on. Thank goodness we have A/C in our RV. On the bright side, our kids did not seem effected by the noise pollution. The amenities did make up for the bad site however. There are 4 pools! and a splash park. Also, there are water slides. They cost $10/day per person, or $25 per stay per person. There are three slides. My husband and daughter were hurt on the second and third slide. I would recommend sticking to slide #1, otherwise you are risking an injury. We loved the paved roads, nice to bike on. It is a slow go community, and seemed pretty safe to let the kids ride on around the campground. There are also swimming ponds, a lake, cafe, arcade, mining, nice camp store and family bingo! It is actually a great Jellystone, we would consider going back, but would only go if we could guarantee a campsite far from the Toll Road.

Room Tip: Stay away from sites near the Toll Road!!!!

Our entire family loves this campground! Great activities for the entire family, lake for swimming, fishing, boat rentals. Pools one indoor and three outdoor, water slides, playgrounds, etc. We stay here 2-3 times per year and enjoy our stay every time. This summer a mistake was made for our daughters birthday. Yogi was supposed to come to our campsite on her birthday, somehow she was missed. Normally a birthday party includes one bear and a gift. After being notified of the missed birthday girl not only were we not charged but all three bears plus Ranger Smith showed up at our campsite! Excellent customer service. I agree with another review that the water does have a smell, it has a lot of iron in it, I do not feel it is that strong and it definitely does not keep us from going there. We have a water filter on our camper that hooks up to the water hookup, this filters out the excess iron and completely gets rid of the smell. I have noticed many campers at this campground with these filters. Some sites are very close to the freeway and it can be loud, especially in the fall when the leaves are off the trees. The freeway is south of the campground.

Room Tip: The 600 sites are close to the water slides and seem to have less of the freeway noise. If you are looking at the campground map the campsites that are closer to the lake or on the little island are farthest from the freeway if that noise would bother you. We generally stay in the low 600 sites and they are nice sites.

We haven't been here for a few years, but we have been here several times prior to that. This is a NICE and HUGE campground. If you have kids, once you are there, there's no reason to even leave the campground.

They have several pools--indoor and outdoor and a huge water playground. This campground is on Barton Lake--you can rent paddle or row boats. They have mini golf. They have waterslides. They have all-day activities/crafts for the kids. They have a large store and a snack bar, etc.

If you don't have an RV or tent, you could rent a cabin. They have basic bare-bones cabins to very nice big cabins.

This campground is very large, and if you are able to bring your bikes along, I would recommend that. They do have bike rentals here too though.

We had many happy memories at this campground. We have been to several Jellystone campgrounds, but this is by far the best one we've been to.

This isn't rustic at all. It's very clean, open and family-oriented. I definitely recommend it for a fun/affordable get-away for your family. Young kids will especially enjoy seeing Yogi, Cindy and Boo Boo, and they will get the chance for photo opportunities with them.

Room Tip: *Take a bike if you can---will make getting around the park to activities much easier.

We just returned today from a quick 2 night stay. I have been coming to Jellystone since I was a kid (1970's). It was called Barton Lake back then. We took our kids in the '80's and '90's and this time it was a 3 generation trip with our now grown children and our grandchildren. This place just keeps getting better and better!! We stayed in site 614 and it was full hook-up with a cement pad and plenty of room. Close to the nicest, newest playground which is next door to the pools and water park. The newest bathroom was at the end of our row. We didn't use it, but our daughter and son in law who come here often, say that it is the nicest and they will walk across the entire park to use it. When you drive into the registration building parking lot, you know you're at a nice place. It's a Disney-like attractive building and immpectably groomed grounds. The staff is quick, helpful and very, very friendly. There is a guide waiting to lead you by golf cart to your site and to help or answer any questions. Most sites are pull-through and have lots of plush grass and a tree or two. There are 4 pools; a family pool, a sports pool, a quiet pool and an indoor pool. There's a big water play area for the little ones, 2 big bouncing pillows; one for 6 and under, one for over 6 which is obviously nice for saftey reasons. There are also 2 water slides (extra charge) and many, many other activities. We rented pedal bikes and had a really nice time at family bingo. See their website for all the fun activities. This is a really nice place. It's clean and the staff is friendly. We've camped in many places and only the Fort Wilderness resort at Walt Disney World is as nice as Jellystone!!
