We enjoyed two meals at Sinclair's and each was a delightful experience. The food was amazing and well presented. Our servers, particularly Peter, were all great

The formal dining room in an incredibly restored turn of the century "mineral bath" resort, the food and service was impeccable. I had the shrimp and anduouli sausage pasta (fab) and my wife the scallops (equally fab) Expensive, but worth the tariff. Two lovely salads, a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and entrees about $150. The resort itself is absolutely unbelievable. "Twin resorts" French Lick and West Baden dating from the turn of the century, received over $500 Million in renovations just a few years ago and are gorgeous. Can have a less expensive experience by dining/snacking/cocktailing in the atrium (live lite jazz) which is nothing short of amazing...largest free standing dome in the US at the time. Whether you eat/drink there it is a must see if you are anywhere close...or even not!
Put it on your bucket list.

We had breakfast at Sinclair's Cafe twice during our visit. The eggs benedict were the best I have ever had. The stuffed french toast is a different flavor every day and very good. Loved the different loaf of bread on our table every day.. banana, zucchini, etc. Very elegant and lovely restaurant in the West Baden Hotel. The service was also perfect! Very relaxing place to dine.

I've eaten in a lot of expensive restaurants and am very happy to do so. That said, I expect the service and food to earn the expensive price tag. The front and back of the house need to spend some time watching and learning from St. Elmo's Steakhouse in Indianapolis. If you're going to charge St. Elmo's prices please start earning them.
