“True West in the Midwest”
Reviewed 4 February 2012

We've been to Santa Fe and Taos, and the Eiteljorg is almost like being there, except for the high cost of travel. An impressive selection of artwork, as well as one of the most interesting buildings in the city, along with a gift shop with a lovely selection of everything "western". Be sure to catch the annual Indian Market for the great bargains in original, authentic Native American artwork and jewelry, and the chance to meet the artists.

“one of the best”

This museum is beautifully laid out, has so many features, both standing exhibits and traveling.    Last year's Red and Black should be sent to other museums - it was excellent.   We also love the cafe.

I'm not much of a museum person. Saw a Georgia O'Keefe display about 5 yr's ago and enjoyed it.

“Native American exhibits so close to the Super Bowl festivities”
Reviewed 23 January 2012

In this beautiful sandstone building at the corner of West St and Washington(walking distance from your downtown hotel)
is a great display of the private collection of Eiteljorg. A must for Native American art/artifacts
