“Loved it!!”

The Eiteljorg Museum was well worth the visit. It's beautiful museum and gallery of Native American Indian art, clothing and history. We visited all the gallery's, ate a fantastic lunch in the cafe, and shopped in the gift shop. I would enjoy a repeat visit to this museum. It was also an excellent value for the admission price.

More kids activities than I expected. My 6 year old spent hours here.

“A great break from the Superbowl Frenzy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 February 2012

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday morning during Superbowl weekend. It was a true treat - the art was outstanding and the architecture just as fantastic. I truly enjoyed the exhibit from the museum's current fellows and the child in me came out in the basement exhibit for kids. This should be a part of any itinerary to Indianapolis.

“True West in the Midwest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 February 2012

We've been to Santa Fe and Taos, and the Eiteljorg is almost like being there, except for the high cost of travel. An impressive selection of artwork, as well as one of the most interesting buildings in the city, along with a gift shop with a lovely selection of everything "western". Be sure to catch the annual Indian Market for the great bargains in original, authentic Native American artwork and jewelry, and the chance to meet the artists.
