“Dreadful”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

Dirty tables. Food was greasy and tasteless. My salad looked like it had been bussed from other peoples plates. This place doesn't put a very good face on despite some people's rave reviews.

“Go for blues or lunch.”
Reviewed 5 April 2014 via mobile

Don't expect "fast"service. But enjoy good food relaxed at lunch and crazy fun in the evening. Not a place for kids younger than 21! The steaks have been very good but remember it is mostly a blues bar.

“Basic but tasty food in a fun environment”
Reviewed 28 March 2014

If you're looking for a fun evening either with friends or as a solo business traveler, this is the place. The Slippery Noodle attracts novice and world renowned blues bands. We got lucky and saw Grammy nominee and legend blues guitar player, Bryon Lee. He was magical and made the entire experience magical, too. You listen to music while dining. We sat at a raised bar table for two and ordered basic but tasty food - BBQ sandwiches and fries. We stayed for 3 sets of music and ordered several beers since we knew we would be walking to a hotel room, and still our bill for 2 was only about $50! A very inexpensive evening of fun. Word of caution - if you are looking for a squeaky clean place don't pick the Noodle. It is a very old building and looks it's age with a bit of dust in the corners. But if you are looking for good basic food and an entertaining evening, I would highly recommend the noodle.

“Fun eating with atmosphere”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

The Slippery Noodle Inn in downtown Indianapolis, has a very storied past (there is a wall with bullet holes (and bullets) that were put there by John Dillinger & gang). It is fun, informal. The food is really good too. You'll have fun!

“History was made there.”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

Showed an interest of the history of the Noodle by looking at pictures and asking question and was given a personal escorted trip of the place.
