To celebrate my bday, my father and I went. Very comfortable atmosphere and Sandra (I believe it was her) was so sweet and nice. I had Pho w/ chicken (first time ever having Pho) and my father had Beef w/ Mixed Veggies Lunch option (soup and roll). Sandra brought out the Hoisen sauce and chili sauce, told me a bit about them if I were to use them.
Once the Pho came out, I was blown away at the size of the bowl! Good Lawd!! You can smell the brother without putting you nose so close; tarragon, clove and something else ( I assume Star Anise). The broth alone was flavorful; I added chili sauce to it and it wasn't overpowering with spice. Noodles were cooked perfectly and with the bean sprouts and chili slices that were brought out for use, was a great orchestra of flavor. The price is absolutely amazing as well since I figured it would be more based on how much you get.
My father said the Beef and Vegetables had spice to it but it was just enough to get the flavor of the spices rather than the heat itself. He was a bit taken-back with the food and absolutely ate everything on his plate!
Also, her napkins smell so good, like fabric softener; goes to show that she takes much great care in her establishment, food and her customers. I bet if I ever get under the weather, she'll be the person to call to remedy whatever is ailing me.
I will def. be coming back for more and to try other meals. I let my husband know we will NEED to go here to try the amazing dishes Sandra has to offer.
I feel bad for those who had a hard time with this place, but there are no complaints coming from me. I would recommend anyone to come here and those who didn't have a pleasurable experience to come back and try again.
