The Scottish Rite Cathedral is a magnificent building housing the Indianapolis Scottish Rite, a Masonic body that confers the 4th through the 33rd degrees. It is the larges building in the world dedicated to Scottish Rite Masonry. The building has a beautiful auditorium, a really attractive ballroom, and a large and impressive banquet hall. Monday through Friday lunch is served on the mezzanine level (1/2 floor down). The biggest problem is that tours (these are free and provided by members) are generally offered only on weekdays.
