“A Classic”
Reviewed 15 August 2013

We went to a wedding reception held there, first time I have ever been, and it is beautiful inside. The woodwork and rooms are amazing. A very substantial building from the outside, and the stonework, masonry and the architecture is beautiful. Indianapolis is proud to show its history.

“A Must See”
Reviewed 31 July 2013 via mobile

This place will make you say what a amazing and beautiful building when you take the Free tour. It was originally built for 1.5 million and couldn't be built for under 500 million these days and that is if you could find the craftsman to be able to do it. They also do and have plays and weddings there.

Reviewed 29 July 2013

This is a magnificant structure, inside and out...................if you appreciate beautiful woodwork, you will LOVE this building.......it is craftmanship at its finest.

Tours are not always available, but if you can schedule one, you are the lucky person.

If nothing else, grab lunch there...............it is good!!!

“The outside as interesting as the inside”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

What you really need to appreciate this building is an excellent docent. There is so much that could be missed without a good explanation. I was fortunate to have a docent who took us around the outside of the building and explained the symbolism on the exterior.

“Great building”
Reviewed 18 July 2013

This is one of the monuments that is a must to stop for a moment and visit. Located next to a beautiful mall, in downtown Indianapolis, this is a master-piece of Neo-Gothic architecture built in1927-1929 is really worth the detour.
Not to be missed !
