We had a wonderful king-bed room on the 9th floor. The room was very spacious, room lay out was pleasing, the bed & linen was very comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy ~ all pluses in my book! Check in was very easy and the staff was welcoming and efficient. The location is excellent: right between Monument Circle and the Statehouse. If you need a room in Indianapolis, I recommend the Hilton Downtown.

This hotel is right in the center of things.
Lobby and hallways are new and clean looking.
Some reviews say it's dated, but I do not see that, it seems renovated. Not like a brand new hotel, but definitely nice, roomy, and clean.
Keep in mind it's an older building so it will not be like an ultra modern hotel, but definitely up to date.
Restaurant is good, nice breakfast buffet, friendly staff.
Good chain seefodd restaurant and bar attached.
Sated with family of 4 in a 2 queen bed suit, a lot of room, bid separate living room , with desk couch and tv, big bedroom and big bathroom.
1 block to city mall.

Centrally located in Indianapolis. Rooms are nice, clean. Bathrooms slightly on the dated side. Pool is nice, on the top floor. When we arrived at 10PM on Saturday night we had no trouble finding free overnight parking across the street from the hotel garage.

Just needed a place for the night. Stayed on the 14th floor, not much of a view. Room was OK, nothing special. Bathroom was clean, beds were soft, nothing really to write home about. The carpet felt unclean, kept our socks on. If you need a place to stay this is OK. Parking is $$ about $18 a night. I asked for Executive level and told they don't have one.

Was on business in the downtown area and the wife & grandkids wanted to go on the road with me for a couple days before school starts again. As always we were greeted by the staff of the Hilton and welcomed back as a regular. The room was very clean and when we needed a couple extra pillows they were there before you knew it. We missed breakfast so we went for the lunch buffet. Again the best I have ever had at a hotel for the choices and the price, and I stay over 160 nights a year in hotels. The location is tops for doing things in the downtown area and the staff is great at giving suggestions of things to do. If you have several people, book one of the corner suites, you will not be disappointed. They are a 1 bedroom 2 bath suite, very large and lots of window space to view the city.

I have travelled to Indianapolis on several occasions on business and always stay in the downtown area. I was there for three days in July at the Hilton. The hotel is really nice with competitive prices and plenty of the ammenities that we have come to expect. It is a converted office building and as such the hallways and most rooms are very large. We stayed on the 17th floor in a huge two room suite with a great view of the city in two directions. The bed was very comfortable and having two bathrooms was very nice. The work out room was ideal. Pool is okay but does not open to outdoors so we did not use it. It would be fine for someone with kids. Hotel staff very friendly and responsive and the restaurant was great. My wife travelled with me and had no problems finding things to do in walking distance including a huge mall. Many good restaurants in all price catagories. Only thing not great was the weather was hot which the hotel could not control.
Eat at the Weber Grill Restaurant one block east.

Stayed here just one night for business. It's everything you's expect from Hilton. The room was spacious and comfortable and very wuiet. I stayed on the 16th floor and no issues with elevators (very quick and always available). The business center was convenient for printing boarding pass for return trip. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The bar was crowded on a Monday night, so it was hard to get the server's attention. The breakfast buffet was average. If you're here for the room, this is a good choice.
