This Motel 6 appears to have been a Microtel: multi-level and with the small window seat/small bed. We stayed here twice within a two-week period while traveling with friends. The rooms are okay: clean with two beds, small fridge & microwave plus a decent flat-screen tv. On our first stay, I had a wall-mounted hair dryer while my friend in the next room had no hair dryer. She had a box of tissues, and we had none. We stayed on the second floor the first visit, and on the first floor the second visit. On the next visit, we stayed on the first floor in connecting rooms. Neither of us had a hair dryer this time, so we asked for dryers at the front desk. We were told there was only ONE hair dryer available, so I dug mine out of another suitcase in the trunk. I understand if they are in the process of installing dryers, but only one for the entire facility?
That said, the location is convenient, just off I-465 with shopping and restaurants close by. In theory, you could walk to Texas Roadhouse or Ruby Tuesday's, but you would need to cross Michigan which is quite busy. The rooms appear to be newly remodeled, and are a good buy at ~$65.
Just remember to pack your hair dryer! ;-)
