“Friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 September 2013 via mobile

Stopped in for a tour and tasting on a weekend trip to Indy. We arrived 10 minutes before they opened but they gladly opened the doors so we didn't have to sit in the rain. The staff was extremely friendly and the wines were great. Most of the wines tended to be on the sweeter side so if you're a sweet wine fan you'll enjoy their selection.

“Had Time to Kill”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 September 2013

Waiting to check in to our hotel, and with a dog in tow, we stumbled upon this winery in downtown Indy. What a find! With a band, outdoor patio, and welcoming to dogs, this was the perfect place for us to wile away a summer afternoon. And the wine was very good.

“Great find, wish we had more time to enjoy it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2013

First off, make sure you read the hours that they are open before you arrive. We did not get there until 5:30, and they close at 6:00, we wished we had more time to spend there. It was a great time, very enjoyable. The wine tasting was our best $5 spent on our trip to Indy. The wine is fantastic, not only very good, but very inexpensive. One of the bottles was on special the night we were there, for $15 you recieved a bottle of wine, and cheese and crackers. You could purchase the bottle only for $8, I was shocked that a bottle that good was only $8. A very inexpensive and fun outing.

“Great Day Trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2013

My wife and I were in town for a long weekend getaway. We stopped by the winery on a Saturday. We took the tour of the winery where the staff were both friendly and very knowledgeable. The tour lasted about 20 - 30 minutes and then we participated in the wine tasting. The price for the tasting includes the tour and it is reasonable priced. You get to try 7 different wines for just $5.00! The tasting went very well once it was complete we headed to the outdoor garden. We bought a bottle of wine and enjoyed the band that was playing that day. There were tables with umbrellas available which was nice since it was hot out. The whole staff was nice and very accomodating which made the day even better. The music ended at 5:00 PM which left us with enough time to still go enjoy something else. This isn't one of your wineries that has acres and acres of fields, but even though it is different it is still a very good winery and if you are looking for a nice day with something different you definitely should do this.

“Downtown Indy Gem on the weekends”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2013

Easley Winery is one of the many top attractions I take my out of town guests too. It is walkable to from most all Indy downtown hotels. They make all of the wine and bottle all of the wine on-site downtown. (They get their grapes from other sites). You can do wine tasting of 7 wines for only five dollars. If you go there on Saturday & Sunday, that also includes a tour plus likely some extra pours. Lots of gifts available for wine lovers there too. Outside patio is nice as well. Plenty of off street free parking available. Tip: If you are going to purchase one of their best selling wines like Reggie, you may get is much cheaper at a local drug store or grocery store. Also nice brewery's next store and nearby to try out as well.
