Went here on a whim traveling back from the east coast and had a stayover in Indy. The Hoosiers film and the recent success of Butler drew me to check it out. The campus was a ghost town (middle of June), so I decided to walk around Hinkle and see if any of the doors were open. I noticed a couple people inside one door and it happened to be Coach Stevens and the equipment manager (name escapes me). Anyway, Coach Stevens welcomed me in and had the manager take me on an hour long tour. He worked there for about three decades and was a wealth of information. It was inspiring thinking of all the basketball history that has taken place inside Hinkle. Definitely a stroke of luck.
