I was in Indy for work and booked the Blue Heron at the last minute. My hosts John and Gail welcomed me with loving open arms. The gardens were so beautiful full of daffodils, blooming fruit trees, dogwoods. My room was immaculate, quiet, and very comfortable. There was plentiful hot water, the wireless internet was superfast and the bed was oh so comfy. After spending 10 nights in a plain old Hampton Inn, the special touches and pampering I received at the Blue Heron were most welcome. Breakfast was devine with lovely table linenens and silver. Everything was delish from savory egg dishes, to bowls of berries. The pace was relaxed but they also were respectful of my need to get my work done. I was lucky one nice to join in a special dinner with other guests. Again, it was like being surrounded by family. Just down the road a piece is the Broad Ripple arts district filled with shops, restaurants and galleries. Next I have work in Indy, this is where you'll find my. Down by the river, watching the swans, enjoying the peace and comfort of the Blue Heron. With my family, Gail and John.
