“Lovely Place”
Reviewed 31 March 2014 via mobile

Big place with Beautiful scenery. Nice trails. Lots of walking/hiking trails. We see 3-10 deer every time we visit. Lots of fishing areas. I would suggest visiting their on line web page prior to going so you can plan your day. Dogs are welcome. Picnic areas.

“Beautiful park w/ lots to do!”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

Eagle Creek is a beautiful park with plenty of trails for hiking & biking. They also have kayak & canoe rentals available during the warmer months. One of my all time favorite parts of summer is checking out the live concerts on the water on Wednesday nights!

“Where are the trails? Not worth $6.”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

This park is set in a good location, not far from the busyness of the city, and has many small roads to drive around on (which is a plus because the park is so large). Pedestrians had to walk on the side of the road, however, and we couldn't find any specific walking trails. Trying to find information on the web was easy, but the information itself wasn't very detailed or helpful. Went into one of the display buildings, were there for five minutes, and walked out because there really wasn't anything to see. Would have loved to been able to actually enjoy the park. Do research on the options there and plan out your time there to make it worth your money.

“The nasty beach”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

We just moved here. Looking for somewhere to swim with my 3 yr old. Heard eagle creek was nice.
The beach was LITTERED with geese poop and literal garbage e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e.
the grass was pretty much gone in some spots. The "grassy" area drops off to a quote on quote beach that is about a 3 ft drop and then about 3 ft of sand.
Oh man. It was so disgusting there lol I could not understand the draw to this place.
Talked to two other families who were disgruntled and grossed out too stating it was never like this in the past.
Perhaps the trails are nice. We will try those but as far as the landfill called the beach? I advise to stay away.
Consider urself warned lol

“Hge and Natural”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

This is more of a natural park. There is a huge body of water within the grounds for canoing or fishing. Take your bike and ride around the grounds on a few internal roads. Pask a picnic with someone special and enjoy a peacful day. Great for kids to run around without all the tech gadgets. The grounds are heavily wooded and is open year round.
