“Worth your time to visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 September 2012

This tour was a very pleasant suprise, and would highly recommend to anyone going to Indy. We learned so much about our 23rd President and his family. Our Guide was very good and could tell how much she enjoyed her Volunteer work there. It was amazing how much of the original furniture and artifacts remained. This tour lasted an hour and held your attention for all of it. My 15 yr old son enjoyed it, as well. So, I would recommend to all ages.

“Informative Visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2012

Visiting the home of the 23rd President of the United States was a treat. The house and grounds are well maintained and the exhibits are informative. Too, the docent did an exceptional job of telling us about the house and the lives of its occupants. I would welcome the opportunity to visit this historic site again.

“Benjamin Harrison Home and interesting tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2012

We enjoy historic home tours, and always try to fit in one or two in every new city we visit. BH Home did not disappoint - well-preserved beautiful old home and a knowledgeable tour guide to provide all the interesting tidbits that make it interesting. AAA Guidebook rates it a "gem" and we agree!

“Phenomenal Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2012

I loved seeing the inside of this house. It was so great looking at the many things that transpired. Seeing the office for the era that he presided just breath taking. I am going back with my family and plan to make a day of it.

“Excellent Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2012

We thought we would just spend 30 minutes and then be on our way. But, there is more to this tour than the President's home. The tour includes information about the house itself, the Harrison family, and special exhibits on important political people of Indiana, women's suffrage and more. Our docent was very flexible. Since there was only 5 of us in the tour group, he was willing to give as short or as long a tour as we wanted. We opted for the long tour, which lasted a little more than 2 hours. We could have used more time to view the special exhibits. The DAR is involved with this site which may have something to do with the very high quality of the exhibits. No, I am not affiliated with the DAR ;-)
