Excellent downtown location, right in the heart of The Wholesale District. The downside of course is that parking is expensive, but that's to be expected.
Lots of architectural character from the buildings early life as a bank, with marble accents throughout the foyer and lobby area. Staff very helpful, welcoming and professional - consistently upbeat and pleasant.
Elevators were slow and seldom seemed to have more than one running, which is especially frustrating if you have to go up and down several times to get a card key working as I did!
The room appeared to have been recently renovated, and was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Absolutely no noise at all from other guests, so either the property was empty or the walls thick! Probably the largest hotel bathroom I've ever seen, with room for at least an extra soaking tub! Blackout curtains made a fan of me immediately.
Variable firmness bed was appreciated, as was the choice between down or synthetic pillows. Linens were of a high quality and everything was very clean. In room Keurig provided significantly better drink service than the typical Mr Coffee.
All in all a good stay, and good value considering the location and quality of the property. I'd certainly stay again.More
