The Alexander is a very nice downtown hotel located right near the basketball arena and about 6 blocks from football dome. The hotels very modern and has artwork all over the place. There's a nice restaurant /bar on the main level along with another bar on the first floor. Service that I encountered was excellent and helpful. Parking is either valet or self parking in the garage which cost $20 per night. Rooms were about normal size and everything updated. I was in town for a conference at the convention center which was about a ten minute walk at a good pace.
