We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service here. We really like fajitas and here you get a choice of sauces, sides and how it is prepared. A nice touch. The fajitas (we ordered a pulled pork and one shrimp) tasted fresh, nicely spiced and had plenty of pork and shrimp. All sides were very good as well.
The additional guacamole was only $1 and good, but a it was a very tiny portion.
We were there during a margarita special, so we had very good margaritas for only $3 each.
We shared the sopapillas for dessert and they were great. We travel a lot and far too many restaurants try to pass off pita chips or worse as sopapillas. Here they were true puffy sopapillas served with cinnamon and both honey and chocolate dipping sauces.
Our waitress was really friendly and efficient. Prices were pretty cheap for the quality of the food and the large portions.
A nice place to stop.
