Always fun at the Tin Roof, a great place to gather before a Pacer game or other event at Banker's Life. The ambience with the metal chairs and tables, sort of 50's style, is very down to earth, warm and inviting. The bartenders do a great job and are friendly. The chicken wings were very meaty, large and perfect with the various barbeque sauces. The quesadilla was very unappealing in presentation as well as taste. There was very little ingredients in the all white tortilla which did not look like it had been grilled. The queso was very bland and somewhat diluted with too watery of a texture. The Cuban sandwich was very good and probably the best food we had there. The chicken sandwich was also good, but nothing special. I should also mention that it took more than an hour to get our food, sitting at the bar. There was no explanation for the delay, but the bartender, without any mention from us, simply indicated he was sorry for the delay, which was not his fault, and graciously said there would be no charge for our food. A very nice gesture that was appreciated and certainly helped make up for the hour or more wait. All in all, a good place to meet friends before an event at Bankers's Life. Other than that, don't make the trip over there.

Stopped here after a concert for some cold beers. Had to grab beers at the bar, as we found no floor staff to order from. Never waited very long at the bar though, considering the crowd. Nice selection of beers!!

Went after having a meal at a local steak house to watch Peyton's return to Indy. Great sports bar, food, and beer. Should have went there instead of the high priced steak house.

They have a good menu - nice variety of food. About 8 tables outside. Inside is quite big and there's generally music. Can be pretty loud which can be good and bad. Service was quite good.

We visited the Tin Roof last night. Service was extremely (and I'm not generally that fussy), extremely slow. I got an average quesadilla for $8.95 and and was at least looking forward to hearing the live band. When the band finally played, they played one maybe two songs before taking a break. I know there were a lot of things going on in town last night; however, a good manager would have anticipated more business and it wasn't as though the place was packed. There were several large groups of twenty-somethings that looked to be having a fine time. Perhaps I'm just not in the right age category.
