“A gem and a must see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2010

My wife and I have been to this wonderful place several times. We liked it so much we volunteered for them for a while and helped them with and older version of their website.

It is like stepping back in time. Of course, as with any non-for-profit volunteer organization, you never know what kind of tour guide you will get. Some are better than others, thats normal. Just go with it, ask questions, enjoy the wonderful artifacts - we will again this Saturday :)

“This place is a gem!”

Call ahead to let them know that you are coming and to get directions (directions are also available on their Web site). A guide will give you a personal tour. This museum is full of treasures because practically nothing has been changed in this former pathology building. It is like stepping back in time. The building is the oldest surviving pathology facility in the nation and is on the National Register of Historic Places. If you are interested in medical history, then don't miss this place.
