“Great Spot”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

We booked a two night stay online in a spa cabin. It is a lovely tourist park and very nicely situated so travelling into the city, or to the Great Ocean Road is not a problem.
The staff were friendly at checkin and gave us a tourist map and highlighted several spots we were planning to visit so we where easily able to find them on the map.
Our one bedroom spa cabin was clean, neat and just lovely to stay in. I would have preferred a couch rather than two large arm chairs but it in no way detracted from our stay. We had a huge spa which was great to use. Price for the two nights was quite reasonable.
The only thing I would suggest when you book is to make sure you book a stand alone cabin. I did not realise our cabin was part of two that were joined. The first night was fine because the second cabin was empty but the second night we could hear high heels on the floorboards, things being moved so it was a bit distracting. Otherwise it was a delightful stay.

Room Tip: Check that you have a stand alone cabin

Awesome small park, only stayed one night, wished we could have stayed longer, not a lot of sites, very reasonable, nice grassy sites, no highway noise. Close to central business district, quiet and very friendly staff at both check in and when we requested a forward booking. We would definitely stay here again. Loved my first night ever on an en suite site and it didn't cost that much more!

I arrived hoping for a cabin being mid week and shoulder season but none were available and so I opted for an unpowered site and pitched my tent. The rate seemed a bit steep for a single with a tent but the site suggested had good lawn and was close to the amenities block which was clean enough. The surprise came when I wanted to go to sleep. Not sure what it was but something to do with the giant gas cyliners attached to the amenities building meant that there was an intermittent and sustained roar all night. I employed my trusty earplugs which generally filter most things but the noise was so loud it made for a very sleepless (and annoying) night. The location is good and the river provides a foil to urbanisation for those coming in from open spaces and the facilities were fine. The continual racket throughout the night was not. I have a long day tomorrow and am writing this at 4.00am having given up on trying to rest.

Room Tip: Don't get anything near the amenities block unless you are a very hevy sleeper unaffected by ext...

Nice not too big caravan park with grassed sites. Staff friendly. Ablution blocks dated but clean and have plenty of room. The entrance could get a bit crowded if multiple check ins at one time. Major shops a short drive away, the city centre not too far either.

We stayed here for one night only big mistake, The caravan sites are small , the water taps poles are Bent and leaking , the showers and toilets are way overdue for a make over , the park is surrounded with homes and there is nothing nice to look at all , the cabin next
To us had over 12 kids running wild till late at night, for $40 powered site it's way overpriced and for a big 4 chain caravan park it should read 2 star not 4 (very disappointed )

Room Tip: Avoid at all cost

We had a lovely stay in one of the spa cabins. The cabin was beautiful and clean, after walking inside you almost felt like you were at a motel not in a cabin, and the spa was awesome. The park was very nice with plenty of things for the kids. Staff were friendly and we felt very welcomed. Will definitely stay again one day when we are geelong next.

Great location and great facilities, everything we needed for our family night away! Really pleased we chose this Park! Our unit held everything we could possibly need in the kitchen so that we could be truly self sufficient.
